What's worse is that most companies prey off of consumer ignorance by using key terms like "metabolism" "immunity" "strength" and so on to market products that have nothing to do with anything and are just trend.

So how do you distinguish between the good health wellness products that are worth your money and the ones that aren't? It's easy - you read my post!

The health wellness products that are worth your $$$

  • Protein powder - Many varieties, but just stick to one that doesn't have a lot of sugars in it. Don't be fooled by "100% whey protein" either, because that doesn't mean 100% protein. The trick is to look at the serving size and compare it to the amount of protein. The higher the percent, the better. The lower it is, the more fillers and junk are in there. So if your powder's serving size is 45g and the protein content is 20, that's less than 50% and chances are that the other stuff is sugar and fillers.
  • Antioxidants - Forget powders and juices, buy fruit and veggies and make a shake. Why bother with expensive health wellness products when the best ones are the ones nature made for you pre-packaged!
